I found the cover of this book to be very interesting because its a picture of a hand being hung, but just a hand and not the entire body. Also, in the hand it is holding a picture of an eye, to me this is symbolizing that Zenia, there old friend is still there looking over the other three friends, Charis, Tony and Roz. I also think this because throughout the book the other three friends all have images in their head of seeing Zenia, but its all just an allusion.

Imagery
Reading on in this book I have been noticing that there is a lot of detail and imagery. For example, talking about the different cars in the city and how for the neighbour hood she was going to was in kind of a not good area and that it was better to drive the Mercedes rather than the Rolls Royce because the Mercedes was much smaller and easier to park, and the Rolls was too big and it felt like a boat to drive. Also, Roz knew that she was going to need to park on the street and that the Mercedes would be easier to park and would draw less attention to her. I found this to be a great example of imagery.
Location
This is just showing where about Toronto is located, and some of it's surrounding citys.
This map is showing downtown Toronto where the story is mainly taking place.
Reading about the Characters and their daily life.
I have now read up to the end of part one of the book. I have learned more in depth about the characters and their lives, and their daily routines. I have also learned so far that the characters all "see" Zenia, when really she is not there because she is dead. At first this was kind of confusing but as i read more into the book it is becoming more clear.
